Mao Zuquan

Mao Zuquan (; 1883-1950) was a Kuomintang politician of the Republic of China (1912–49).
==Early life and career==
Born of Jiangsu Haimen ancestry in 1883, Mao Zuquan studied in Japan as a student during his younger days before being appointed as a member of the Nationalist Party of China's Kuomintang National Assembly in 1912. The National Assembly () refers to several parliamentary bodies that existed in the Republic of China at this time. In 1924 he was chosen by China's Kuomintang Central Committee as a candidate for the executive committee member position. Later on in his life, he was appointed as the head of the Jiangsu Civil Administration on Mainland China under the rule of the Republic of China. He also served as Nationalist China Secretary of the Official Punishment Committee as well as the Secretary-General to the President of the Republic of China. During his life, he also served as the Presidential National Policy Consultant and served as Nationalist Republic of China's first Minister of the Ministry of Justice (Republic of China).
